Ciao! The next few months I'll not be around. I have GCSE comin up, and frankly, spending all my time here seems to have had a detremental effect on my work. I'll be back in June, but until then, aloha.

Exams are terrible. This post reminds me of my exams, wich are also coming up soon. Blah, I'll study later.

He's likely to be worrying about the latter rather than the former, because a) they suck and <img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... s/cool.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='cool.gif' /> they're kinda on everything he's done for the past 2 years. Then he had two modules of exams last year, the year nine SATs the year before, and can look forward to his AS papers next year followed by his A2 papers the year after. And then it's off to uni. On the plus side of the UK education system, you get an actual qualification rather than this 'high school diploma' bussiness at 16, then another at 17, then another at 18 before going off to uni. On the downside, you have 4 years of major exams before uni, after a year of a 'meaningless standardised paper' that kinda determins what level of GCSE's that you'll sit. And this was all introduced to relieve the stress of having a set of major exams at the end of two years study (which is now two years of exams), followed by a set of major exams at the end of two years study (which is now, again, two years of exams).
