This doesn't sound right. My parents know i'm a member and they're okay with it. But sometimes parents overreact. I knew someone who was grounded for a month just because he had a MySpace page. When i asked his friends why, they said something about online predators.
5 years ago, i had a similar experience with my teachers. I wanted to perform "Hungry Like the Wolf" in the school talent show, but when they saw the lyric "I'm on the hunt, i'm after you" they thought the song was about a stalker. I tried to tell them it wasn't true, but one of them cut me off with "I don't care! I'm the teacher and i say that my word is my law!" I won't explain what happened next, but i will say that i learned the hard way that you can't always get what you want.
Today, i realize that they were right, in a way. I read in a book that the song is based on the story "Little Red Riding Hood." And since the Big Bad Wolf follows Red to her grandmother's house and poses as the grandmother with the intention of eating her up, you could consider him a stalker. But despite this new information, i still like the song, and i'll always love the wolf.
My parents are okay, but i kind of have a love/hate relationship with my stepfather. When he and my mom talk, their conversations contradict each other. And when she's not around, he badgers me about chores. Basically, i know how Asterik feels.
Anyway, it's almost time for bed. Gotta wrap this up before i'm rushed into bed.

I guessing by my previous two emails it makes it seem like like my family is dumb, but really they are not. I hardly refuse to give out my name and will never give out my aunt's name nor our location, and even if I knew her email, I still would not give it out.
Even though I can't log in, I can still read the comments people write on the forums.
Please refrain from calling any members of my family any disparaging names because it is very disheartening to see the people who I called my friends to speak to family in that manner. Just remember think about how it would feel if I said those things about your family.
My father, who I don't live with and had nothing to do with this, and my mother has been dead since 2001, who fought a ten-year battle with cancer. My aunt, who loves, cares and provides many things for me and I still love her.
From now on leave my family out of this discussion and the only things I want in this thread are the memories of my time here and thoughts on how much you will miss me.

I'm sorry, and I apologize for saying "your parents." I just automatically assumed it was your parents banning you. And I respect that you don't want to hear bad of your aunt, but that doesn't change my opinion of her, I'm afraid. If she's willing to deprive you of something that makes you happy for such a silly reason, I just don't think she's got her heart in the right place.
However, it's a good thing that you love your family and want to defend them, I guess. We'll miss you, and look forward to whenever your exile will end.

Cameron is awesome because:
-Because he has an artistic style that is both complex and minimalist. This is profound!
-He once drew me as a roadrunner. It was an actual honest to god feral roadrunner, but a roadrunner nonetheless!
-He lives in Idaho among the wilderness and stuff and I envy him for that. 3:
-He is probably one of the most personable artists on here.
-I think he's the only one of us on here who drew a fanart that made it as a guest strip on O&M. This is an accomplishment!

I wouldn't call it an exile. That makes it sound like we (or at least a moderator) told him to leave. Unfortunately, I don't know a more specific and appropriate term than "restriction."

Yes, it's more of a self-imposed exile.I wouldn't call it an exile. That makes it sound like we (or at least a moderator) told him to leave. Unfortunately, I don't know a more specific and appropriate term than "restriction."
