I guess bowties aren't too bad. Just dorky.<br><br>Thankfully, my current job and the one before it don't require neckties. I've known only one peer who actually likes those things. He once used a martial arts white belt as a makeshift tie, just going to meals at college.

I hate ties. They are evil.<br><br>Then again, I dislike dressing up in general. The "nicest" outfit I've worn in the last five years is a pair of khaki pants, a polo shirt, and my motorcycle boots. And my <a href='http://www.lilpup.com/photos/view.php?s ... 2005_-_034' target='_blank'>blue psuedo-sunglasses</a>, of course, because I like them :-)<br><br>[EDIT: Grrrrr, die evil BB code! Let me use HTML like a normal nerd!]

My older brother got married and I wore a second hand black suit and a pair of converse. I looked like a scruffy bugger <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... iggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--><br><br>Oh, and he wasn't wearing a tie when I saw them. That is why we're talking about ties right?

Jeez, I always have to wear my tie when I go to anything over a casual dinner. I do wear some interesting stuf, though. My grampa brought me a bunch of military clothes when he went to Kosovo. I ended up wearing my boots to formal occasions before I bought my new dress shoes.
I'm here, you just can't see me!

Triggerpoint is my not so new webcomic, and currently under heavy work before it resurfaces.

My one and only tie is my old blue-and-silver-striped school tie, and it's covered in writing and has the end missing. Still cool to wear to gigs though.

As far as I know I'm one of the few people to wear a tie over a camoflague shirt to a formal do.<br><br>I've also made one out of duct-tape and stuck it to a white polo shirt before (a la Red Dwarf)

I'm guessing you weren't wearing much beside the tie.
