Well, I was refering to the fact that Miles lives in New England. 'Tis a ways away.
I'm here, you just can't see me!

Triggerpoint is my not so new webcomic, and currently under heavy work before it resurfaces.

Yeah, um, I essentially live in the same place Tavis lives. But guess what? I'm not evacuating. There as absolutely, positively no way I can evacuate. The roads are way, way, way too congested. So I'm forced to stay here and face the wind and rain.

Be careful.
That which does not kill me, cripples me for life.

And I really hate to bring this up, but I have bad news concerning Tavis' father. The interstates... will most likely NOT clear up. Some roads are backed up for more than 100 miles. It's... pretty insane... cars are running out of gasoline just sitting there for 12 hours... never leaving the county...

But don't like, worry too much. He should still be OK. The storm Surge will most likely not reach him, and if it does I think it won't be anything major. And the wind gusts there won't be that much stronger than they will be here, so I believe he'll be OK. I think the biggest problem he has to face might be the rain.

Yes, hopefully he'll be okay where he is. Like you said, he can't get out now.
Well, as of 11:00pm (GMT -5), Tavis' dad was about half way to San Antonio.

I hope your still ok Arloest. judging by the time you should be through the worst of it. I'm glad Tavis and his family got out safely. The hurricane is visiting me now, but it is only wind and rain now, and either of witch should do much at this point. that is other than some minor flooding.

Even though I believe the media are scaremongering over the new hurricane after Katrina, I wish you well.
