--Spell checked and reedited 22:01EST

I'm back from vacation. I just finished watching the last of my backed recorded TV. (I forgot to move the cable amp off the UPS, so the picture was all fuzzed over on all my recordings. Stupid lowsy signal here.)

Fortunately, I didn't have too much TV to watch because of the great state of our nation resulting in "intellegent programming" being synomious with "Cartoon Network" Pretty ironic. Anyways, I got the rest of my Anime watched, excluding the Wolf's Rain episodes that I'm saving for when I'm bored. Gundam Seed seems to be getting pretty interesting: "I finally see what we should be fighting against." (implied: War itself) -- Kira, main character in Gundam Seed.

As for my trip I did injure myself, but not Skiing, the snow wasn't really suitable, so I chose not to go. I managed to hurt myself sledding instead. Note to self: 45 snowbanks make bad ramps; results in spinal column compression. Good thing for my Chi-Gong training, or I'd be in serious trouble. I still was knocked down for a good 5 minutes, but I didn't get any real perminant injury. If I didn't have my back straight I would have a pinched siatic nerve right now, and that would not be fun.

*LOL* At least I am more relaxed. I got some video games in, and some good snowshoing. Quite fun.

The weather was seriously unfavorable for photography. Multilayered fog and, and raining almost any other time. The only time it was clear and not raining was late at night, past twilight. If I had the camera my father's getting me for Christmas I would have no problem, but the one I have now is pretty lowsy for night photography after twilight, and I hate flash (it ruins your image).

There was this cool antique shop there. Nothing like the ones loaded with junk around here. They had some really cool stuff, Nice selection of old fashion tools, old skis, old snowshoes. Great stuff. They had some newer stuff too: like a book from the ET children's book series. I wish I had room in my collection of rare books, but considering I may be moving soon, I don't want to be adding to my collection.

They also had a copy of SCO Unux in a Nutshell at one of the outlet malls. That book was discontinued when O'Riely Publishing joined the boycotte of SCO. Quite a piece of Internet history there. I REALLY wish of I had room for that book.

I'll be back to post on the regular threads when I read the O&M strips. I just got online.
