I am jealous of your snow >:@

It's going to be in the 70's here tomorrow D:
Don't be jealous of snow. Be jealous of slightly-more-tolerable summers, but not white powder that covers driveways and streets and has to be shoveled and plowed and melts into gray mush that re-freezes into ice if God forbid your town doesn't salt and if they do salt your car's undercarriage will be one big piece of rust in a big hurry.

Want snow? Download a wintery desktop. Want a sample of the trouble it causes? Download it from one of those untrustworthy sites using Explorer and turn off your antispyware.

Well Liz is just visiting so she probably won't have to deal with most of that.

I know about the problems with too much snow, having strong Bostonian ties, which is why I opted to try to move to Portland, Oregon instead of Denver, Colorado.

Still, I'd just like to -see- real snow more than once every fifteen years.

If I'm not mistaken, Portland got caught in the huge snow dump that struck Seattle and here in Vancouver. Could be wrong though.

There was at least a good foot of snow here for Christmas. It was kind of nice, seeing as I didn't have to be anywhere for once on Christmas. Today's going to be harsh though, going several places...hopefully it melts fast like they say it's going to.

That was sort of a freak incident for Portland, though. (I'm quite a weather nerd and I know more than I really should). Usually when it snows there it's only a few times a year and its no significant amount.

I have to deal with shittons of snow, and I still like it. A lot.

Just saying.

Snow here is pantsless ridiculous, we haven't had this much snow in forever. Seriously, there's like 3 or 4 feet in some places.

Same freak weather that hit Portland is here. BC, Washington and Oregon all got hit lol.
