Well, here goes:
You can view my pics here (they're the first 13 of them).
My day began when the bus dropped us off at Casino Niagara (one of three in the area - Seneca Niagara and Niagara Fallsview being the other two). I immediately took a trip down to the waterfront. Noticing a sign indicating that there was a pedestrian border crossing, I decided to take advantage of it, and invade the States.
The crossing was rather uneventful. The last time I left the country was in December, 2003 - before I became a furry. The fact that I was let in was a bit of a disappointment - I thought my work on IRT would've surely earned me a spot on their "inadmissible" list.
Since it was my first time in Niagara Falls, NY (ever - I'd been to the Canadian side three or so times before). I decided to snap some photos from their side of the gorge. If there's one noticeable difference, it's that, while the Canadian side has hotels, casinos, and other touristy attractions that crowd the skyline to give people an indoor view of the falls, on the US side, it's simply a state park. And it offers more shade on a warm day; I suspect the reason it's less popular has to do with the fact that seeing all those tall buildings on the Canadian side ruins the view, if you want to just look straight across.
Anyways, after an hour on the US side, I returned to Canada for some lunch and some A/C. I spent a large part of the rest of the afternoon hanging out in the casino, burning through a pile of chips at the Blackjack table ($60s, if you must know, or about 4 times the table minimum), and sat at the tutorial table (hey, free games). Unfortunately, I don't have any pics - photography is not allowed on the gaming floor (But the decor is kinda nice - when you enter from Falls Avenue, the escalator leading up is flanked by a pair of waterfalls).
I sneaked out in the late afternoon, and part of the evening, to snap a few more photos of the falls (under improved lighting conditions), and decided to take a self-tour of the tunnels going behind it, before returning to the casino to play some more Blackjack and 3-Card Poker (on $40, this time, so it didn't last as long) until the bus arrived to take us all back.

Astro> gforce's smiles can cure cancer in kittensgforce422 is awesome because:
-He made the absolute nicest comments about me in the other topic. I didn't respond to them yet, because I suck, but they are greatly appreciated! =D
-I would say he would also be a good runner up as one of the nicest people alive.
-He joined the IRC sometimes. But not enough, I say! Chat moar =D
-He is evidently only 18 year old but he could easily pass for 25. =D
-He is a drummer like *I* am and this in itself is cool.
