Like all of the other schools of Engineering, the first two and a half to three years mostly consist of theory--meaning lots of classes in Circuit Analysis, all sorts of Mathematics, and generic Programming courses. I'll be the first to admit that its easy to get burnt-out on the material, because at times it doesn't seem to apply to anything. Now that I'm getting into junior and senior level design classes, and can actually apply what I've learned to designing something useful, I can say that I'm glad I picked that program. The only thing I can say I regret about my choice of major is that I didn't take at least some electives in a few writing/literature classes (Hell, any non-analytical class for that matter). After grinding through this stuff exclusively over the last three years, I've noticed that my ability to express my thoughts as words has diminished.Welcomeness.
I'm considering majoring in Computer Engineering. How do you like it?
