This is fantastic, except the Caspian Sea isn't a lake per se but a remnant sea of the Paratethys which dried up a few million years ago.

Arloest, the Paratethys is no more isn't it? It's remnants can hardly be called that. You don't call the Pacific, Post-Panthalassa do you?

You know that largest island in a lake on an island in a lake on an island is only like 60 miles from Manila, this is going to haunt me next time I go to the Philippines. What's another 60 miles, a boat ride, and a hike after flying 7000 miles?
