Ketchup with macaroni and cheese?

I was talking to someone and they said they said the only way to eat macaroni and cheese was with ketchup. And I of course had never done this nor had I even heard of it particularly, so I questioned this notion. And she was like, "What? I thought everyone did that."
So I'm running this shit into the ground to see if everyone, indeed, does this and I'm just out of the loop or something.

Nope. Combining cheese and ketchup with macaroni in this manner seems rather disgusting.
Though, I do have that Boston Market microwave meal that has salisbury steak with mac&cheese. That tastes pretty damn good, to be honest, though I initially thought it sounded like a terrible combination.
So I don't know, maybe your friend is on to something.

I have always eaten KD with ketchup. Typically I eat the first half without until the cheese taste dulls, and then add appropriate amounts of ketchup for the rest.

I think it's disgusting and if Jason tries to conform me into eating KD his way then I will be very irritated D:< (lol)
I love KD strictly for it's cheesiness. In fact, I add MORE cheese to it whenever I make it. Why the hell would I had ketchup to it. It's morally wrong and makes me sad ):

I don't, my brother does (or did), and my dad actually used to add Salsa, and still does sometimes.
I think it seems like a disgusting flavor combination, so yeah.

I can't stand Ketchup on just about anything (or mayo, but that's a whole other story). The only thing its remotely appetizing on is french fries, and I've found better substitutes.

Never heard of it, either. But this does remind me of an old joke:
Q: What's black and white and red all over?
A: Burnt toast and cream cheese and ketchup!

my sentiments exactly.
I have heard of Ketchup on Mac n' Cheese before, and seen a lot of people eating it that way. Just not for me.
