Is this really so outlandish though? So not everyone would look at Monopoly and see the seeds of a movie, but there have been stranger movie premises.

This sounds worse than that upcoming movie where Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson plays the tooth fairy. (I wish I were making that up.)

Didn't they do that already with Hulk Hogan?

No, Hogan was a nanny, The Rock will be a fairy. Totally different premises there.
