A lot of these "Girl" comics seem to be rehashed O&M comics with a girl in place of Millie and Ozy replaced by a talking bird. In an effort to avoid the weirdness of cartoon animal children or something.

What?

Let's all sign a petition to replace those comics with O&M!

does DCS have a fetish for blue string as well?

other than that, it wasn't all that bad.

A ha! So this is why Raine Dog is so spotty, DCS has been developing a whole other comic.

It actually looks pretty good.

Well this was sure kept secret.

Occasionally this strip shows traces of being interesting when it stops trying to be Ozy and Millie (often literally being Ozy and Millie) but I can't help but feel this Girl character is just how DCS saw herself as a theoretical girl child. That kind of self-insertness makes it somewhat less interesting.

BUT if she stops rehashing O&M strips almost word for word and runs with that whole Dr. Doolittle-esque theme this could be a lot better than Raine Dog.

Well to be fair, those of you who were fans early enough to have seen the old OM website know that a lot of the older Ozy and Millie strips themselves (if I'm correct, almost all of the OM-ripped strips here are the older strips) were remade like five times.

[edit] but I still am a little annoyed by it.

Agreed on both points.

I was pretty bored by the comics. The rehashing annoyed me because it makes DCS seem very unoriginal/out of ideas. A couple of them were amusing though. And the art, overall, isn't too bad actually.
