I regret to inform you, dear members, that Doc Sigma has hacked Define Cynical in order to place a bouncing version of his avatar on every page. Whilst this is a terribly unfortunate incident, I ask all users to remain calm and not to panic; as far as we can tell the bouncing avatar is benign if somewhat distracting. I am doing all I can to get rid of this very silly effect but no matter what I try it simply does not disappear.

I suppose you'll just have to put up with it.

I threw it off the screen and it boomeranged back like a space shuttle crashing back through the atmosphere. Yes, this very irritating, but when I threw it, it was very amusing.

oh god, just realized that it accelerates when you scroll down and up.

Ok for a second I thought it was based on, like, the dynamic URL of my actual avatar... which made me think "HEY I COULD CHANGE IT TO A GIANT PENIS AND GET SOME LARFS BEFORE AN ADMIN NOTICES"... but then I forgot all about that when I discovered that I don't see it AT ALL when I am logged in! I need to log out to play!!! Waaah!!!

BTW, does anyone "get" my avatar? Like, know the source? Just curious

I scrolled up as it travelled upwards and caught it so it just drifted slowly from the left to the right at the bottom of the browser. Then I kept moving the 'floor' from under it so it looked like the poor girl was falling to her death.

Which is beautifully ironic, considering what happens to her in the game.

(She's on trial for murder. Near the end of the trial she collapses to the ground, unconscious from severe atroquinine poisoning. If she's found Not Guilty, she makes a miraculous recovery; if she's found Guilty, she dies in the hospital.)
