Um, no, they're not. Are you actually thinking when you post?
If I think when I post two things will happen. 1) My post will be long and 2) You would like less of me. For all your sakes I don't put much thought into posting.
#2 happens with your short posts FYI.
QFT: Quoted For Truth™. (I only expand that cuz I'm new here, and I d'know if you guys have that acronym. I said it once without defining it on another board, and they thought I was saying "Quit Forkin' Talking!". Heh.)

I can cope with a long post, myself. Heck, I've been known to make one or two of 'em. And, honestly, though brevity is the key to clarity, sometimes an addendum or two can really clear up some ambiguity. I'm just sayin'.

And let no one say that thinking is A Bad Thing™; indecision due to over-thought might be less than laudable, but being wrong due to lack of thought is, in my never-humble opinion, worse. Just sayin'.

Just a few weeks back I was reading a collection of short stories called Classic Victorian & Edwardian Ghost Stories which is mostly fictional tales but also includes three genuine stories from people who experienced them.

I was going to post one of the fictional stories here because I suspect quite a few people might like it.

Well, one good thing that has come of this topic is that I'm now fascinated with magnetic hills.

I'll bite.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...
