What do you think? I wrote this myself, for reasons I can't remember.
Depressing Gnome Poem
Here in the land where the little folk roam,
A place that all the gnomes call home,
There was a gnome called Laglami,
Who lived in Gnome-Town in a tree.
He sought a golden Orb of old,
‘Twas in a land of snow and cold,
Poor Laglami was in his tree,
And knew that his it would never be.
And yet he set off in his search
From happy land of oak and birch.
