My Opponent fails
To hold in proper esteem
My Lovely nonsense!

All replies must be in Haiku format!

An openhearted song of
Complete party of Zen

It seems likely that
You began a second thread
For today's comic.

I already started this thread...

Yerf! Pay attention!
I already started this!
You can find it here...
(though it's not in Haiku)

It is as I thought
I saw another thread here
That was from before.

Eh, you're better than Baldrick at poetry at least.

"Boom boom boom boom. Boom boom boom. BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM--"

Here's some zen for ya!

Eh? Confusion with
several syllables of
silence included...

(the subject line should,
though invisible to me,
make a wise statement.

It should state wisely,
with witty insight in this,
"Here's some zen for ya!")

It occurs to me
that you should not have given
me invitation.

With a sneeze I lost
my train of thought and forgot
what I want to post.

Mu-nan was involved
and it ended with the phrase
"I'm Ozy's brother."

Few restrictions are
placed upon me that hinder
my endless babbling.

In among this crowd
I see familiar familiar faces—
Emily, Stevie.

I didn't expect the candidates to go negative this early on. I'd call it mudslinging, but it's more like gently blowing dust in each other's general directions.

Check out the class. Cute cat Stevie makes another appearance. Felicia is not in the picture, but this is only part of the audience unless the kids seen on Thursday have left along with their chairs. I would not be surprised if Felicia skipped this session, but if she is there, she's probably paying no more attention than Stephan.

The other thread is free verse. This one is Haiku...

Tom Flapwell, your post
Does not meet the Haiku form
Use the other thread.

Perhaps this thread should
be renamed to indicate
the "Haiku Version."

Sorry about that.
I must have overlooked the
Haiku requisite.

This thread is crazy.
I cannot write in haikus.
WTF, help me!

Had to resurrect
other Haiku game, just in
honor of this thread.

Mister The MAZZTer,
your avatars are so huge.
Takes long time to load.

Have a swizzle stick
for my internet. All things
take much time to load.

My current problem:
I'm thinking in Haiku. Make
it stop! Make it stop!
