Once again, I have no idea whats going on.

actually, iyestorm, you were pretty much right on the money there. THis comes from a Star Trek Voyager episode in which the holographic doctor programms in the ability to daydream, and it begins to take over his normal programming. In doing so, htough, an enemy who is using the doctors active running subroutines sees the daydreams, and assumes the doctor is the captain, who ordered and destroyed a borg cube in a single shot. This then leads to the biggest bluff ever done in voyager, to my recolection, in which they say they have this massive uber weapon that can destroy any ship in one hit, and scare the enemy away, (with a little help from an inside person on the enemies side who wants to save their own hide!).<br><br>I point out here that i do not consider myself a "Trekie", and these things just stick to my memory. I think i've seen the episode a total of three times. I can recall this, but not what i need to for school if the info is boreing... *sigh* oh well, so it goes.

Heh.. that episode FoxChild was describing was "Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy"... *flips through <i>Voyager Companion</i><br><br>Yup. Episode #224 (that's the 114th episode in the series, BTW. Hey, that one is going to play here next Tuesday!).. there was no danger of a warp core breach in that one though, so Salad Man might be referring to a different episode. One I think might fit better is "Projections" (episode #117) where a holodeck malfunction leaves the Doctor confused and questioning whether or not he is a real human and Voyager is a simulation. Very twisted episode indeed.

That sounds like soemthign the computer would say in one of the doctor's fantacies.

Yeah.. it was during one of the Doctor's dreams that the computer said that.
