I'm an MMO veteran and nut. If its MMO, I've most likely tried it, beta'd it, or heard about it.

I prefer 3D games (i'm a visualistic sorta person, as is why I prefer a colorful comic archive =)

I prefer RPG and FPS games. Strategy/RTS are good too. Puzzles and simulations are a bit low on my list.

Right now I'm playing Savage (excellent RTS/FPS blend), The Specialists for Half-Life (great FPS, lots of matrixy-stuff), Gunbound (one of the only 2d games on my plate at the moment. Its worms on crack.), and Vice City (for the fifth time, on PC this time). Later today I'm getting Max Payne 2.

As for MMO's, I'm currently playing Dark Age of Camelot and Star Wars Galaxies. Soon I plan on trying Worlds of Warcraft, and am DEFINITLY going to be playing Final Fantasy XI. I'm also beta testing Horizons (can't say more than that due to NDA).

Aside from the computer, I have a PS2 and xbox. the cube doesn't have as many games that interest me enough to purchase it. The PS2 probably won't last much longer, the only game I'm looking forward to now is .hack//quarentine(I think thats what its called), the fourth and last game in the .hack// series.

I'm a fan of old school gaming. (i.e. SNES)
I love the old RPGs for the SNES.
I have every Nintendo system, and some emulators on my computer.

But on computer, it's all about slaughter.

Serious Sam I & II
KISS: Psycho Circus(very underrated)
All the DOOM games.

I mostly play Return To Castle Wolfenstein Demo version.(retail blows)
I'm in a somewhat new clan: Clan 69th We have a server up too. I'm not much of a computer gamer (at least, retail games, although I do love You Don't Know Jack.), but I love console games, especially NES, SNES, and Genesis. In fact, my favorite character of anything is Tails.

I only have a pc on which to game. I used to have a Sega™ Genesis™ to play with but it broke. I mostly had sports games for it.

As for PC: I grew up with Sim City (I'm a huge Sim City fan and am very annoyed with Sim City 4. They shouldn't have released it without allot more work in some areas but it does have good ideas. Therefore Im eagerly awaiting Sim City 5) and Tank Wars (similar to Scorched Earth). I'm a fan of everything Maxis™ puts out which would mean Sim games: especially Sim City and Sim Tower. Other then that I like Strategy and Real Time Strategy as well as Sports games. I've never joined the role playing crowed but seeing how I liked choose your own adventure books I probably would enjoy those games. I like most other games but not to go out of my way for them. If someone wants to play one with me I would enjoy it but not for solo play.

I've never role-played before, but I have started playing Vampire the Masquerade lately. I't's cool, but I'm just a ghoul.

I'm pretty much an old-time gamer. Old DOS games that is. Probably my favourite game would have to be Doom. There's still a huge community of fanatics ten years after the release - which I'm a part of. But basically I love the older computer games. So much nostalgia. I've also never owned a console. I would play newer games but my computer is crap. Very crap.

Also, StarCraft is about it when it comes to online games.

Anyone remember Commander Keen?

Do you still have Tank Wars norsenerd? If you do, would you mind sending it to me? I've been looking for that game forever. I have Scorched Earth, but I need Tank Wars.

Commander Keen.....

Not sure about that one, but I have these gifs from Final Doom. You get to kill CK in a secret level.

I hardly play any games on the computer except maybe Freecell. I used to play Scorched Earth a lot, and I actuallywrote a game based on it for the TI graphing calculators called Aim

Of course, it was nowhere near as fancy as the PC game. Even then, I thought it looked a heckuva lot better than the competition (including people who dared call theirs "Scorched Earth".) If you have a TI-graphing calculator, (85, 86, 89, 92, 92+) and have been around a while, I'd be surprised if you never saw it.

I really like the old school games too. I have an original Nintendo and Sega, which I play all the time. If I still had an Atari, I would play it too. About the only semi-current game I play is Counter Strike (online).

I enjoy Unreal Tournament, though I can't stand the 2003 version (mostly because I can't run it at 1600x1200 with super-high detail without lag). I also enjoy most games in the Half-Life family, and Galactic Battlegrounds (Age of Empires with a Star Wars skin). My favorite game of all time, however, would be a tie between GTA:Vice City (PC) or an old DOS game called Frac (3D Tetris, probably one of the first 3D computer games). I have never owned anything resembling a game console in my entire life, and I therefore have no eye-thumb coordination for one of those gamepad things. I had computers my entire life, so I have a love for any old DOS game, and I have a 486 still running that I use for exclusively for old-school gaming
