((Note, I'm not sure if this topic has been beaten to death or not, but if it has, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if it were deleted)).
So, what do you listen to? Even if it's only the radio, it has to be something.
As for types of music, I listen to mainly heavy MEHTUL and rock. But, I also have a taste for celtic music, arabic music, and stuff from some African nations, like Senegal (Bakka Beyond), Congo, and Kenya. Basically, I'll listen to anything but mainstream pop and most country (save Johnny Cash).
In terms of favorite bands, I have a few:
Slipknot
Staind
Radiohead
Alice in Chains
NIN
Smashing Pumpkins
Led Zeppelin
Pink Floyd
Metallica
Queens of the Stoneage
I also like listening to Loreena McKennitt, Clandestine, Cannaid, and a few others of that type.
I was in a band, actually, as a lead vocalist, but I suck so badly at the guitar that was about all I did, besides back up (really backed up back ups) and the harmonica. We broke up about two months ago since we all had different visions of success, which kinda didn't go together with each other at all.

I Hate (c)rap with a passion. If you asked me to pick out a celebrity from a line-up i wouldn't be able to. Most of the ppl i know think I'm an idiot because i don't know who these people are.

Tell your mom you're nothing to be worried about when there are 20-somethings out there, like me, listening to music made before and during World War 2.
