where do all those pens (especially ballpoint pens), left socks, and hair ties go? (hair ties may be aka hair elastics, pony tail holders, elastic bands, and others i'm sure.) <br><br>and are there any other objects which seem to randomly appear or disapear without intervention? <br><br>and if these go on migration, where are they migrating <i>to</i>? <br><br>perhaps there's a planet someweher populated solely by socks?<br><br>altho o&m does offer this posibility for <a href='http://www.ozyandmillie.net/2001/om20010927.html' target='_blank'>where socks may end up</a><br><img src='http://www.ozyandmillie.net/2001/om20010927.gif' border='0' alt='user posted image' /><br><br>

I can't say I've lost that many pens.. yeah, go right ahead... there was a mountain of left foot socks on that planet in ren and stimpy. I saw we meet there in 5 minutes.<br>Oh, and be sure to bring exact change for the bus fare.(please someone else remember that line!)<br><br>oh, and one other theory for sock... washing machines dont run off of electricity, they eat small bits of clothing for fuel. What better bit of fabric than a sock, right?

Has it ever occured to anyone that it IS that TV news anchor!?

I seem to remember an old twilight zone episode that dealt with reality. It turns out that there are a number of blue people who are building reality second by second as we pass through time. Every time that you lose something and then find it again, it's because one of the construction workers forgot to build the item. Later they catch the mistake and build the item. Therefore we can make the assumtion that the workers keep on forgetting to build the pens and socks. Therefore they vanish for a while and reappear. Unless they are forgotten completely in which case they vanish completely.

Umm, so they're bulding every single atom in the whole universe every second so they'd have to be gods or somethng yet they can still forget pens and stuff?
