We actually have quite a number of topics here that attempt to avoid going off-topic by not having a topic in the first place. Somehow, forum-goers still manage to find a way to do so. Indeed, staying on-topic is difficult here.

well concidering how many irelevent tangents that get introduced it is not suprising that we go off topic quite a bit.

Yea it might seem like a god idea but would that offer too much temtation to going off topic.
