I thought of this in rowing on Wednesday. I was pounding out the 10k and wondered if anyone might be playing golf at that very moment.

Anyhaw, I'm really into drama, I'm in a Mock Bar Trial and the school play (The Government Inspector by Gogol) I play Bobchinsky. I also went to a lighting workshop yesterday, and I do after school drama. Out of school I doodle, can't really call it art, and I also try my hand at writing. I do quite a bit of DIY and can plumb a sink, shower or bath in for you, I can build you a kitchen and wire lights and sockets and stuff without getting killed. I do air rifle shooting when I feel like it, but I'm sure I don't know how to look after one properly. I keep my hand in with the piano, and I also play bass and mandolin. I also like pina coladas and taking walks in the rain.

What about yisselves?

Well near my house there is a concrete wall. (I don't know why; but there is) I just love laying there and just think about stuff while I'm rocking out to some music. It's very relaxing. ^^ I also love listening to people and trying to help them with their problems. (Some of you know what I'm talking about.) I'm not really into much else. So I guess that's it really. Nope nothing more to say. Just a few more sentences to make this seem long and interesting. There we're all done now.

Beyond the obvious remarks about sleeping and eating:

I love old science fiction books. Dime Novel type stuff. Kieth Laumer is a personal favorite of mine.

I like to write when the inspiration strikes me. That is, if it doens't strike too hard. Otherwise, I just go take an asprin and lie down.

I enjoy wandering around in the woods. Not hiking per se, because hiking implies a long trip or a destination. I just like to see what I can see.

Of course, none of these really count as "hobbies," but I don't have any hobbies, and I felt the need to post. Mea culpa.

a perfect hobby is something that isn't even fun, like how i put most of my time into working on computer hardware. that is in no way fun, but i like to do it, making it my ultimate hobby.

For me, I love programming. I'm not uberly good at it by any means, but I've dabbled quite a bit. My major in college is Management Computer Systems, so I am studying to be a programmer as well. However, my Java class is killin' me because I can't understand my professor, but that's another topic for another time.

I like listening to music when I'm in the mood, and the type of music depends on how I'm feeling or what I'm doing. Otherwise, I like dabbling in writing. Most noteable of my works are my fan-fics based on Fallout (if anyone wants to read one of 'em sometime, let me know and I'll send it your way). Otherwise, the rest of my works seldome see the light of day, mainly because I have no idea who'd I share them with.

Other than that, I like going for walks when the weather is favorable. I also love watching movies, probably because I don't get the chance to see all of them that I want to. *shrugs* Reading is also one of my fondest hobbies, but also the one that usually gets neglected the most unfortunatly.

Yep, this subject has been visited, but I think it's appropriate to start up a new thread. After all, what people are doing change from time to time, and now they can say what's happening at the moment.

As for myself, I try my hand at drawing and writing from time to time. I've never actually wrote a whole story before, though, and my drawings aren't terribly great. But hey, at least the people I draw are starting to look like people.

I like chess, martial arts, computer programming, thinking/philosophising, reading, and going for walks. I also spend large amounts of time online nowadays, mainly here or over at Gaia Online. Of course, I just got an IM program on my computer, so no doubt yet more free time will be leaving me.

I'm more of a checkers player.

I've been shown a few times how to play, but I never really caught on completly (probably because I didn't really want to learn at the time). Someday I'll figure the game out, though.
