http://films.entertainment.msn.co.uk/sy ...

It looks simultainiously like a complete and totally travesty to the concept of the magic roundabout and quite good, actually. I'll be going to see it, I think. Of course, with a cast featuring both Richard O'Brian and Tom Baker, I'd of gone to see Catwoman

The unfortunate thing about that last sentence is I'm not sure if I'm serious or not.

That's.. insane. But I loved The Magic Roundabout as a hatchling, so, I suppose with those voice credits, my fate is sealed. Tee hee.

Hmm, not familiar with "The Magic Roundabout." However, it's nice to see Tom Baker still getting acting roles.

(It also stars Kylie Minogue? )
Tom Baker hasn't exactly aged badly, but hardly looks... Anything. OK, so it's debatable if he ever looked anything (his site's forum frequently debates if he was the best looking doctor or if McGann was), and according to him he turns on 70 year old women, but anyway.

As for Tom's acting career. Recent stuff I know he's had (within the past 10 years or so recent) - The elven king in the d&d movie, voice over for a documentary on time travel, voice over for various commercials, narrator for a bbc3 sketch comedy program, little britain (featuring lines that are so Tom Baker such as 'In Britain, if you want to buy a pet, you go to a pet shop. If you want to buy a pet shop, you go to a pet pet shop. If you want to buy a pet pet shop, you're just being silly.'), and he played the sea captain in the second UK version of Forte Boyard. The sea captain having the same role as the Professor in the first one, as in sat up in the watch tower giving the contestants riddles. I think he was pretty much given free range over what he did with that one, considering what he actually does with it.

When I watched it it only grated in places, to be honest.
