Two thumbs up.

I've never played a game before that required me to plug in a night light when I went to bed. This game is AMAZING. It's just so REAL.
The games play off of suspense. You're walking through a hallway and the lights are off you hear a moan and you bring out your flashlight. Two zombies are there walking towards you. You turn off your flashlight and hope that you're shooting them. Then an imp appears out of a demonic teleporter behind you. You know this because the teleporter gives off red light. Then the light burns out and you can't see the imp. Then it charges up a fireball, letting you see where it is and you shoot, dodge the fireball, and shoot again.

This isn't your average "run through the level and kill everything" game.
This is your new age " I can hear it, but where the hell is it" type game.

If your comp can handle it, buy it. Now.

Ah. So it's one of those 'survival horror in first person' fpses, kinda like the original half life, but with modern graphics and AI and... Well, doomy?

I can't run it. But I do know a 25 year old guy who got so scared he had to stop. Sounds good

I can't run it!

But anybody who thinks piracy isn't a problem hasn't seen over 50,000 people downloading doom3 the day before it was to be released.

It's not for the light-stomached people. Walking down a hallway covered in blood and suddenly a human corpse dangles from the ceiling isn't like a field of roses.

It's probably the most satanic game I've ever played. Rooms often flash blood red and you hear "satan's voice" before demons appear out of no where. And sometimes satanic markings flash on the walls and you hear little girls' voices crying out for help.

But I can't stop playing it.

I can't run it. :-( But it sounds REALLY CREEPY. Which I like.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

I'm sorry, while that screenshot is lovely, I can't help but be more impressed by some of the screenshots (even without taking into consideration that they were taken via 'camera pointed at tv screen') on here

Oh sorry, mistook this for the thread just below it. My appologies
