Said fountain was.. Um... How should I say 'small'. By 'small' I mean, specifically, the actual pool the water is drawn from is about the size fo a golf hole, if I were to be generous. She normally uses it as a drinking hole, probably because rain water is fresher than tap water.

If only I had pictures

But I'll take a couple off of the fountain when I next have access to my camera, I think.

This is why I prefer cats as pets to dogs. I mean, sure, you can't play with a cat like you can a dog (well, unless you count my dad who's kinda had a relationship with the cat bassed on play fighting for the eight or nine years we've had her. And he wonders why she goes for him on occasion and without any apparant malicious intent), nor can you have any hope of actually having an obiedient cat, but they never tire of doing these amazingly cute things. They just slow down with them in their old age.

My dog doesn't do cute things so much as dumb things. He bangs his head on the table, manages to punch me on the nose, frequently tries to eat his lead and ends up trussed up like a badly-trussed up turkey, runs up and down the stairs repeatedly (sometimes for 5 minutes or so, especially while being filmed)...the list is endless, and mostly hilarious.

lol.

Cats are cooler and more intelligent than dogs. They just can't be bothered with these animal IQ test - a sure sign they are smarter <img src='

Dogs are dumb slaves to theie human owner, while a cat is much more independant <img src='

I think it's more like:

Dogs are dumb slaves to their owners, while owners are dumb slaves to their cats. . .

I live with two cats . . . who do you think is really in charge of the apartment?

Well... Which cat is more dominant and which is willing to sit back and watch?

It's the one that sits back and watches.

Eeewwww . . .

Back on topic:

My point was that the cats actually run the apartment. I just pay the rent and buy the food.

Well. You actully have a life outside the apartment. The cat's prety much don;t. It makes sence that they woudl run the place.

A dog bit me when I tried to pet it the other month.

My dog has a good bark. It is big, and so its a good burglar deterent. But if someone breaks in and gets mauled then they can sue us cos we haven't got a "Beware yon foul-smelling canine beast" sign.

They could probably sue you if you had a beware of the dog sign. Lawsuits are stupid. The place my mother works at, for example, if fighting the lawsuit of someone who slipped, while drunk. She was trespassing at the time.
