um... this might help. Everytime one of those people open their mouths, replace what they're saying with "Would you like fries with that?". That way, when you start laughing in their smug little faces, they won't have the foggiest idea as to why! then you just say something along the lines of what stephen said to avery. "I'm going to be so picky as to how you pump my gas." Then, either walk away, or if you can't, then ignore them entirely while displaying an ear to ear smile. this doesn't neccicarily solve the problem right away, but it would help a bit anyway.
If you've done things right, people won't be sure if you've done anything at all.

I hate small minded people like that, especially when they are also so insecure, intolerant and uneducated enough to be raging homophobes.

Yes, i've had to put up with similar. They've learned to be against abnormal people so they are, part of the social structure of the teenagers where intelectual knowledge isn't always in control.

But I don't blame them.

no, i blame them. They are the ones who fell to the 'popular' idea without analyzing the situation. Think before acting, thats all i have to say.

I seem to be cursed when it comes to finding romance... of course going to four high schools didn't help (Note: The fact is true due to moving 3 times while I was in H.S., NOT because I was a troublemaker)... and of course every female I've met either
A: already has a boyfriend, or
B: is not even remotely interested in me.

I hate the fact more than anything but I manage to live without it, and it constantly bugs me...

yeesh, calm down BSP. no matter how much of an idiot they are, they're still entitled to an opinion. It may have been wrong of them to write the author saying their opinion, but they're entitled to it nonetheless. besides, your profanity is showing. Make yourself decent.

Just because they have a different opinion than you does not make them idiots. Attempting to flood the artist's mailbox coplaining that a fox has teeth does. Well, not quite, but it does seem a rather odd complaint. I only hope that the complainers were civil about it. Not that I don't like the fangs - I do - but any change is bound to find people who don't like it. It would be better if they found a more appropriate way of expressing it than filling David's (already full) mailbox. That's what forums are for, right?

And Miles, I know exactly how you feel. 100%.
Still mostly here.
