Hell: Exothermic or Endothermic?

A place to talk about anything (that doesn't belong in the other forums).

Ironically, I'm interested in getting back to the less relivant topic, which is more relivant to the topic; ... or whatever.

As for the original topic, I'm not sure that hell can break, regardless of increasing pressure. By all rights, the pressure just keeps going up, along with the heat. Of course, some might argue that hell has already broken loose, which would mean that souls going to hell would just end up back here. That might explain the number of jerks walking around; it might also explain global warming. (but don't tell that to Bush. no need giving him any bright ideas.)

Secondly, the girlfriend, Ms. Teresa Banyan, would only go out if she knew that hell froze over. Seeing as hell could've frozen without her knowledge - I doubt she's visited it lately (some could disagree) - it doesn't support his conclusion.

Third, looking at Jacob's argument, he forgot that increasing the pressure forces a gasious substance back into a liquid, and liquids back into solids. A high pressure hell could have liquid brimstone at much higher temperatures than 445 C.

I'm sure I had more, but I forgot. That's enough for now.
Still mostly here.

I don't remember if I put it in the Landing Strip or not.. in short, you type stuff after an equals sign in the quote tag:
*NOTE: Replace curly braces with square ones in this demo:
{QUOTE=Jacob, two posts ago}Could anyone tell me how to add the username to quotes.{/QUOTE}

Quote: (Jacob @ two posts ago)

Could anyone tell me how to add the username to quotes.

The easiest way to post a quote, though, is to find the post you're quoting and click the "Quote" button on the upper right of the post.

*claims prize for most redundantly worded post on quoting posts posted with a quote, knowing someone will try to top it in a minute or so.*
