Well, mostly I like RPGs and puzzle games. Some action games are nice, too. I haven't been playing much, though; I'm kind of getting out of the habit.

My favorite the Legend of Zelda, followed by... I guess Harvest Moon, at least for now:) I'm also a big fan of (old school) shooters. I really, really, really want a PS2 for the newest ones coming out - R-Type Final, Gradius V, etc. But that's not happening.
Still mostly here.

Take Aerofighters. Multiply by a factor of about eighty. Throw in really nifty graphics and the fact that you have this neat ability to absorb bullets of certain types and you've got a really good game. Short, maybe five hours of actual gameplay, but ridiculous replay value.

I say you can't beat the good old days. When you take "Sonic the Heghog 3" and connect it on top of "Sonic and Knuckles" and stick it in the slot of your Genesis, and hold your controller with only three buttons in your hand, and flip the power switch, and watch that blue blur speed past both sides of the screen, proceeding the three male voices singing "SE-GA!", you can have no better gaming experience.

But I also like Diablo II.

Final Fantasy VI (III) is still one of the best games out there, but that might just be cause I'm playing it now.
Also Suikoden, for any of those out there lucky enough to have played it.

Super Nintendo RPGs were the best games ever made. Especially some of the Japanese only releases. The 3 that best stick out are Bahamut Lagoon, Tales of Phantasia(which I think might be coming out on GBA), and Seiken Densetsu 3 (a.k.a. Secret of Mana 2)

I remain eternally convinced that a remake of Super Mario RPG would fix every problem in the world. Especially the problem where we don't have a remake of SMRPG. Another Fallout would be nice too, but that's not looking too likely.

Having just re-beaten SMRPG, i could not agree more about that, plus another fallout game would cause a resurgance of those lovely duelgem cases of fallout 1 & 2. And yes, the nintendo company was the king of rpg's. Now they have some things like 'Final Fantasy 10 2', and if I were to start on that, I would go on such a tirade that most of your eyes would melt away from reading it.
If you've done things right, people won't be sure if you've done anything at all.

Now FFVI part two! That would be something!
Another Fallout would be pretty cool, but I feel SMBRPG was mediocre at best.

I have remembered that "Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest" has yet to be replaced in my category of favorite in the annals of games.

I am ashamed to speak of this, but I have not been able to play a Monkey Island game without a walkthrough or guide.

Metroid, Final Fantasy, Doom, Quake, Starcraft, Clive Barker's Undying, GTA: Vice City, Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, and all manner of ridiculously addictive free online games.
