Ooh.. purple flames.. I've only seen orange flames at the refineries over here.. What's the stuff that are they burning, and why don't they share?
I dunno. I just know it's the Motiva refinery and it's the refinery that will one day blow up and probably kill us all (at least those of us in Delaware). Their safety record's horrendous. They got fined $100k for a huge fireball that erupted there a few years ago (no one was hurt) and they had a massive sulfuric acid tank explode that injured 6 people and killed one (the body was never found, even after 2 years!) I guess the explosion and acid were enough to completely destroy the body. That's terrifying.

Well, I received the repair estimate for my Zaurus, a PDA that I can find online for around $250 and actually got for $105... and will cost over 300 bucks to repair (Estimate: $233.50 for replacement screen, and 95.50 labor... add shipping and tax, the total was $364.74!). *sigh* So I had to call Sharp and tell them no deal, just send it back.

*breaks out in a big fit of coughing laughter as dad announces he found the receipt to a Replay TV recorder in his shirt pocket* *wheeze* *gag* Uhhhh... did anyone get the license number on that train?

Oh.. about that receipt.. the Replay was sold with the offer of 3 years free subscription, but the company didn't honor it since it was purchased for little over $100 instead of the 500 or so they used to charge for it. So after a few hours trying to install it myself in the living room entertainment system that cannot budge with the combined lifting force of myself and dad, I had to pull it out and get it set up for the return. Oh well.

No offense, but you sound like Charlie Brown.

On another note, this is my 200th post. There are several people on the board with over 200 posts, but keep in mind my 100th post was made back on December 18th. That's another 100 posts in 8 days. I'm in the top 10 posters. I'm 2nd in average daily posts only to BSP. See what happens when I don't have school for a few days? I end up coming here whenever I'm bored just to kill time, and I end up making a bizillion posts. Holy crap, I need a hobby.

Riding a bike lost its magic touch that it used to have when I was young and had friends who lived around me that I could ride with. I'd be more interested in maybe, say, BMX biking, but there's nowhere to ride at all. That and my parents kinda don't want me doing any 'extreme sport' hobbies (i.e. skateboarding, BMX-ing) since my brother crashed while going down a hill a few years back and cut up his face. The pool's closed for the winter, so I can't go swimming. I can only practice trumpet so much before I run out of stuff to play and it gets boring. I could practice guitar more, but it's frustrating as hell to learn; I probably get some lessons or something like that. I'd play lacrosse, but there's no one to play with, and even when the school's team re-starts in the spring, I kinda burned my bridges with the coash last year after I left. I sucked, so lacrosse will probably be out this year, even if I wanted to try again (I really would like to return, but I'd be 'the kid who quit last year' to the coaches, and lets just say the coaches are your average testosterone-infused jocks who yell at you because you can't run 2 miles everyday without stopping or almost puking). PS2 is always there, but I'm running out of games. Sadly, you can only replay Final Fantasy games so many times before you've done everything. I guess I'm left with posting and listening to my new Dream Theater again for the 4th time today.
