Welsh doesn't have vowels because the boat bringing the language aboard lost the vowels overboard in a storm. Interestingly, the same thing happened with Hawaiian, expect in that case the letters lost overboard were the consonants.

Does this mean a new breed of language is floating in the oceans somewhere?
