Changed mine a good bit. Got a new wallpaper, and fit the buttons to the new color scheme.

Well, that's XP actually. I have Vista Transformation Pack installed. It replaces lots of XP resources with Vista ones, it's pretty slick. It gets about as close as it can get.
I do have Vista installed on another partition, but my GoldSource (HL1 engine) based games have issues with Vista so I'm in XP for now.
Vista Beta 2 is quite stable, the only real problem I had is when I use the start menu to stand by, I get a blue screen from some buggy driver. So I just use my keyboard button instead.
Also the default file permissions Vista assigns suck... you'll be denied access to any other drives you have as well as any folders not Microsoft sanctioned until you figure out how to override the security settings. Here's a hint: Take Ownership of the folder/drive, and then assign your account Full Control permissions. Just remember, for security reasons, you shouldn't let this affect Windows' folders (Program Files, Documents and Settings, Users, Windows, System Volume Information...).
Also it's a bit confusing finding a build of Java that works right on Vista. Look for "Mustang", which is Java 1.6 in development, when Vista Beta 2 came out I had to download a nightly build (stable build didn't support Vista). But now there is a stable beta that does so it should be less confusing.
And Vista tends to complain about it's speed, as the programs and drivers it lists under those warnings are all MS. Furthermore that rating is all wrong. Supposedly more recent builds of Vista are faster.
As far as the feature in Vista I'll probably use most often...

Volume control on a per-application basis. Much better than fooling around with outdated sound channels.
