"Javs," which is short for "Javier," has been my name for Spanish class since I was 14, because there were way too many Andrews in the class. I also use that name as a general nickname, since everyone seems to like it.
"The Mute" came from the title of a Mars Volta album called "Francis the Mute." I don't really like the band that much, but it seemed to be a good addition to the name.
My name before this was "alcayde08," but that caused some problems for reasons that may or may not be obvious. Besides, I didn't want numbers at the end of my name anymore.
