Does David Simpson come to this forum?

A place to talk about anything (that doesn't belong in the other forums).

Other than an attempt to turn common net jargon/abbreviations (LOL, ROFL, et cetera) into actual words (rollercoaster -> LOLlercoaster) I have not a clue what it means.

I have no idea why internet people made those things unless they want to confuse normal jocks.
I wonder if it'll finally get it's own forum too. I've always wanted a place online where I can talk about O&M.

Still doesn't explain "ROFLCOPTER." I mean, "ROFL" doesn't sound much like "heli-" or any other prefix I know.

I actually use the expressions "lol" and "rofl" more often in real life than on the internet because its puts a funny expression on peoples faces.

But the idea (i think) was to make it easier to type faster and to save time and space.

I guess it does save time.

LOLERSKATES!

LOLERCOASTER!

LMAOSANDWICH!

Basically, it can be used in two different manners.

1. To actually be nerdy and replace teh already nerdy acronym.

2. To make fun of people whe use acronyms like rofl or lol.

But also, the words are said not like R-O-F-L-COPTER, but as ROFLCOPTER. (RAWFULLCOPTER) (LOLLERSKATES) (LOLLERCOASTER) (LAMAYOSANDWICH).

I know this guy who has these custom in game binds that animate several lines of text a second, depicting images like the ones in the above posted video.

If anyone wants to know what's "hip and now" in the online nerdy world, just ask me.

Yeah I would but I've never spent that much effort on trying to be hip or cool or pop or fresh or phat or stoopid with two "o's." I'm much too lazy for that.

... Plus your avatar scares me .
