High school forced me into social situations and other people into social situations with me. Now that that doesn't happen anymore, other people generally avoid me nor do I seek out other people. /lifeofaloser

There's something about hating my life that really makes me enjoy my life. Does that make any sense at all?

Really? I found that in college you generally get forced into social groups a lot, especially in labs if you're a science major. And the difference between college and high school is that you're more likely to have more in common with people in your field of study.

And people have (mostly) grown out of being stupid, fit-into-the-crowd type idiots.

In high school, you're kinda forced into groups.
In college, you're forced into groups a bit more.
In the workplace, zomgwtf you're forced into groups all the damn time.

Hmm, I've worked with groups in labs but that has never lead to any social contact outside of class. I guess I'm just good at being a loner. >.>

Actually I hate working in teams. I do my best work when I'm left to my own devices.

The reason why anyone likes high school is because they haven't been to college yet.

I had alot of good times in high school once I stopped worrying about stuff.

Frankly I don't know how the majority of people you know can hate you. Its one thing if they are neutral towards you, or even dislike you, but if they hate you then you must be doing something to fuel those feelings.
