Edit: Also, not to be the rain of blood and orphans on your parade, cougar, but I sincerely doubt she likes your dragons as much as she likes you not threatening her with legal action.

What I haven't told any of you is that in the last e-mail I sent DCS, I told her that I would not be seeking legal action and that I just wanted us to settle things like mature adults (stop snickering!)

It seems a bit coincidental that just weeks later, DCS contacts me through DA saying everything is on the way.

My point is, I believe her comments on my art were sincere. She was after all, giving me advice on it before all this happened.

but honestly, saying to "never use any legal actions on her" is like giving her a blanko check. I mean, I would say that when it's about 10 or 20 $.... but woa, 310 $, that's some money, you could spend on something useful... I mean... you coulda have a ten year abo of playboy for that money...

First, it was $350 not $310 and I didn't say I would *never* seek legal action just that I thought we could settle the matter without going that far.

So, here we are at the beginning of the week. Hopefully this will end happily. I'm 90% sure it will.

This post consisted of several paragraphs, then I got tired of rambling about how people misuse percentages in imprecise ways and how silly it is to expect DCS to accomplish anything good and how wishful thinking is a terrible fallacy to fall prey to (especially with pantsless percentages) when predicting events and blah blah blah tired nonsensical angsty (hi doog) Gecko blah...

No, 100%. Based on my past experiences with ordering art from DCS, I was confident that I would get said art in a timely fashion, taking in account the time to create the ones I commissioned.

This time I also took into account that DCS has been busier than usual, but over a year? With no explantation or contact at all? Just not acceptable. A simple e-mail every now and then would've gone a long way. Just a quick, "Hi, very busy but will get your stuff to you ASAP".

Anyway, I'm only missing two pieces of art now. DCS got back to me right away this time so I have no doubt I'll have the missing pieces in a couple of weeks.
