But seriously I thought you were 16 Liz. Am I right or wrong? I do find it rather distateful for someone that age going out with someone that young. Its a matter of relative age. A 24 year old going out with a 32 year-old is not the same as a 16 year-old going out with a 24 year-old. But thats only my opinion. And theres no reason for me to beat around the bush that I feel a bit creeped out by it. I'm just posting this in the same way SJC stated his opinion so I don't want to be beaten for this.

I don't mind if people are creeped out by it. Be honest people. It won't bother me nor him. We've already had our fair share of people call our relationship creepy (One of my friends was so utterly against it that he hated Jason) and we've already had to deal with my parents reactions (I think they're okay with it. In fact, I think they like him now). I think we can handle people on DC being weirded out by it.

Huh, really? Weird, I remember you as being two years younger than me. Meh, I admit I'm not AS creeped out by it, but considering the fact you met online, for all you knew it could have been a crapshoot and Jason could have been a REALLY creepy guy. But you were lucky . Glad, to hear your parents had the right reaction though, if I had an 18 year-old daughter and found out she was dating a 24 year old I'd check that guys background and invite him over pronto just to make sure that everything was all right... Even then I think I'd keep a close eye on him. Parents should be nervous about things like online meetings. but, I'm also glad to hear that they accepted him slightly. Good luck to you both, in three years it will seem more normal.

I've known Jason for over 7 years. We started dating two years ago. Before we ever met IRL, we always webcammed and talked on the phone (At least, since two years ago). I was never worried/never doubt about his character or how he looked. xD But I'm glad people still feel concerned for me. At least it lets me know they care.
