I believe I've linked to this before, but here it is again. <a href='http://www.darrenbarefoot.com/techdocs/dragonballz.jpg' target='_blank'>Seriously confuzzling instructions for some DBZ toy</a> Thanks to <a href='http://www.darrenbarefoot.com/hall' target='_blank'>The Hall of Tech Documentation Wierdness</a> These instructions would make more sense if left in Japanese. It looks like some guy at the home office tried translating them using the English half of the copier instructions.

well, don't forget, it's REALLY hard to translate Japanese to English. I would know. They communicate on more of a context basis and emotion. like it's easier to speak than to write. And since nobody is good at looking at context clues, well... It's a lot simpler to translate the other way though. I wonder if Japanese people laugh about naiongo.
