Otter or Human?

A place to talk about anything (that doesn't belong in the other forums).

Whatever you decide on, I'd be happy to draw you that way if you want. :)
No, thanks okay!
Cameron, is that an otter brotherhood response?

Don't put up a front, and don't read too much into what's a lack of activity both on forum and in chat.

I have decided to do what my heart feels and I will use BOTH of my personalities depending on whatever the situation presents.

But if you still what to post advice feel free to. I could always use more advice.

More advice: Potholes suck. Avoid them. :P
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

Haha, your road crews are lazy.

It's already been said much, be yourself. You could be like me, the most casual of furries: I've never been to a con, there are almost no drawings of me, I've never even met another furry in real life, and I joined this forum cause of O&M, not furries. But I still consider myself a furry because I've always felt a connection with squirrels (can't really explain it) and whenever I include myself in writing, I am a squirrel. I think the word "Furry" means more than just someone who is deep in the fandom.

Again, do what you feel is right, and if people don't like it, to hell with them!

As far as I know this isn't a furry forum and people don't ignore others because their one thing, another or even yellow. It's just a case of activity I guess.

I dunno anyways as I'm just a simple lurker *lurks*

Nice honesty Asterikboy86, I like its magnitude.

As everyone's already said, the furry factor is not that important, it's just common due to the anthro nature of the strip.

I have a fursona but I am not a furry. It's hard to explain.

Do whatever you want man. Personally, the only reason I depict myself as I do is because I can't draw humans very well, and I like Wolfdogs. I'm not a "lifestyler" or anything.

Oh and Feak, it's "D'youknowhatImean?"

This forum doesn't require you to be a furry. I'd say the only condition is that you be a fan of the comic. No one will start ignoring you if you make a human or anthro avatar of yourself and post art in the forum. If your human drawings are getting less responses than you expected then it's not because as a forum we look down on them as non-furry. Sometimes certain topics/pictures just don't get the volume of audience you were hoping.

I think it's also safe to say that all of us in the forum are mature enough to not mind if a newcomer/older member does or doesn't have a fursona. We don't judge you or accept you based on having one or not. Personally I don't even equate forum members with their fursona's (if they have one) and sometimes have to remind myself what they are.

You brought up the phrase "Four legs good, two legs bad". A few members use birds as fursona's. And I think Tom Flapwell is a bat (I'm not sure, like I said I don't always know who's what).
I'd like to take this point to make clear that despite my nick having 'raven' in it and going by the name of Muninn (a mythological raven) in the chat I don't have a fursona and am not a furry. I just happen to like birds (the human variety too ).

As others have said, just do what makes you feel best.

For simplicity's sake, yes. On an earlier version of the forum, when we could have a few words right underneath our usernames, I put, "Screeching bat/primate/confused canid," in reference to the mild difficulty in classifying a flying fox.

<.< does it make me totally clueless that I didn't realize how many people were actually furries on this forum? (i'm not a furry despite my name, and I don't personally care if anyone else is one)
