And some of you thought Millie's fangs were scary.

A place to talk about anything (that doesn't belong in the other forums).

Aren't solar flashlights just electric lights that recharge via solar panels?

And I do have another response to that, but I don't want to spoil one of the plot twists for those who might want to see the series at some point.

Edit: but I will post this little gem from episode 3:
Grandfather: "Four o'clock."
Seiji (this one might be spelt wrong): "The sun will rise soon."
Kouhei: "What happens when a vampire is exposed to sunlight?"
Grandfather: "It's often said their body will burst into flames and turn to ask."
(brief pause as Kouhei stands up)
Grandfather: "You finally feel like looking for her?"
Kouhei: "Just going for a drive."

At least that's what the subtitles say. The actual dialogue sounded kind of Japanese.

What if their body burst into flames, but they didn't turn to ash?

We all know there are only a few ways to kill a vampire:

1) Cut its head off.
2)Steak it with a wooden stake. But DO NOT take the stake out because he will come alive again... or something like alive... I suggest burning the body after steaking it.
3) Drown it in running water doing a few d6's of damage I think... Ummm... scratch the d6 part .

And I think one more way... Let me get my Monster Manual... Crap I did it again... Well anyway Millie is probably crazy enough to do any of them.

**Goes on ranting about silver weapons and lycanthropes**

or if you bite a vampire it turns in to a human and if you're lucky, you can watch the centuries old ones shrivel up and die in front of your eyes

DCS should've ended the comic a year or two ago.

Vampires can only be killed in one specific way. The trick is figuring out which way is the way of killing the specific Vampire. Each nationality of Vampire can be killed in a different way.

Most entertainingly, Irish Vampires can be killed only by covering their grave with rocks.

Most frighteningly, there is no known way of dispatching Spanish Vampires.

Great Vampires, of course, can be killed with a steak through the heart (either metalic or wooden will do). It has to be a rather large steak, however, since they're of comparable size to planets.
