Sonic 3 & Knuckles is my personal favorite.

I fact, that episode may have samed my life, because it just so happened that towards the end of watching that episode, I had the urge to take a ride in the dryer; it looked fun. But, because I always watched the "Sonic Sez" ending to the show, I was there to be informed that playing in the dryer was bad and that I could be hurt! Oh my! Thankfully, I heeded Sonic's advice and decided not to play in the dryer after that. Thanks Sonic, you saved my life. Now if only you were there to tell me not to play in the microwave...

I remember Sonic Sez. Looking back on it, that was at least as vaguely surreal as the live action portions of the Mario show. Gawd. There's a college story my dad has about giving rides in the dryer, which apparently they were willing to do because they didn't have Sonic Sez back then. Crazy stuff, eh?

I hate Inspector Gadget, mainly because of the theme song.

Yeah, Tails rocks.

Too bad he was practically useless to play as (one player rather than two player co-op) in Sonic 2

But still, he was worth it for his crouch sprite alone

As for the roms issue, last I checked it was legal to make them but illegal to transfer them or download them unless the games had been declaired freeware by the owner of the copyright. However, if it's a 16 bit console or previous, no one cares enough to do anything, pretty much. Of course, non commercial roms are always legal, and I don't think any emulators are illegal.

The only example of commercial titles being rereleased as freeware I can think of is the llamasoft library, because Yak kinda takes the view that if it's old enough to be emulated, he's not going to make any money on it anyway..

I know that that's quite a useful feature in certain parts of the later genesis sonic titles, where some moving spikes coming down from the top are just long enough to squish sonic.

he's smaller in 3. theres this one area in the first level where spikes come from the ceiling as you say. sonic gets squished. tails does not. knuckles doesn't reach that part of the level. I imagine he's smaller in 2 too (pun unintended, but i'm not gonna change it).

P.S.: wait... that's what you said.

y'know, I think someone needs to make a new version in the old style. Like MegamanX, Sonic is not suited for 3D. of course, I have to admit, sonic handles 3D better than Megaman X, but not much. WHEN WILL THE BUTCHERING END?!?!?!?!?!?!
