A moment to look back
Moderator:Æron
This decade put me through an emotional roller coaster. It started off terribly, then got very good when I graduated from college in '05, and it's been great since then.

Got introduced to the real world harshly...its amazing the difference of perspective you have between 15 and 25.
so there's a high school football coach sittin on the couch,
with a toothpick in his mouth.
and the stray dog won't forget the day,
he tricked him with a chocolate shake. (little trick)

This decade has been pretty much one slow downward spiral for me...
And I've gotten progressively furrier on top of it all. (To which I am referring to, my beard and body hair, of course.)

Scurry, scurry, Scurryous! You might just be the murriest. You certainly are the furriest! Hurry! Scurry! Scurryous!

Started my yearly mental cycle of good/bad years. Currently at the end of a good year transitioning to the next bad year. Also did some stuff, almost got girlfriend, and almost killed a few people, but that's life.

I was in 5th grade during 9/11, which jumpstarted one of the key moments in present US history. I don't recall much and was not even indirectly effected so I've got to say that wasn't all that bad, for me that is. I went through middle school and subsequently highschool changing as I went. Discovered DC when I was about 15, had already heard about furries about one or two years before back when I played D&D on OpenRPG. I became quickly swept up in typical teenage ignorance in the whole furry thing, but became milder to the point I'm at now.
I'm ending my first semester of college in two weeks... Interesting decade... Not to mention being able to see the last two of the LotR movies, which really stood above the other fantasy movies this decade, and stands in my opinion as some of the best cinematography in general, along with one of the best adaptations I've seen. The continuation of the Harry Potter series until its end was all in this decade. This was definitedly a tumultus, pop culturally important decade in history, with the rise of the ever fine tuned internet begun in the 90's, along with odd obscure terms such as "Web 2.0 compatible".
