Mine's long enough that I can successfully hide my earbuds under my hair for just about every class, which I would classify as in between compared to some guys I know with stuidly long hair. Almost every single tip curls though, which I hate.

you run it inside your shirt, dummy :P

I do that, although just because there's no dangly cord when I bounce around.

I suppose that would work if you ran it down your back...but the cables DO have to drop from your ears into the collar of your shirt.

If you have long/thick enough hair, you can hide it if you wear the hair in front.

that's very minimal, in my experience. The worst part is having to coil the cable up and stuff it in your pocket. Sometimes I wrap it through my belt loops first.

I wouldn't know. I prefer to use obvious headband headphones. :P

They are a real pain to carry around though, especially if you don't have a pack with you.

no, I'm talking about while you're wearing them. I wear studio headphones... they have a really long cable and so I loop them through my belt loops and then plug them into my ipod. It's easier than having to wad up the extra slack (and bend the wire) and stick it in my pocket.

I was referring to the whole hiding thing because I can't attempt to hide mine. Though this is actually an awesome idea, and one I will now use as the long cord has pissed me off for a long time. Thanks =D

I do pull them through my shirt, but I also pull it around the back of my neck over to the other ear, though only one at a time; it's impossible to hide both, since I have to keep it facing away from the teachers, and pulling it around my neck makes one cord invisibly while keeping the other one obvious and out in the open. Any visible cord other than the one coming around my ear is always covered by my jacket's collar, so it's usually impossible to see unless you're looking directly at it or looking for it. And my earbuds are more like earhooks, which might make it a little more difficult to hide, but I haven't found earbuds (other than the ipod ones) that doen't fall out constantly or have terribly sound quality.
