Happy birthday me, too.

The reason why 20 is cooler than 19 is because now you can say you're in your 20's. For me, it was a bit odd at first! Let's see how it is for you.
Well, okay...

I'm in my 20's.

Cameron is awesome because:
-Because he has an artistic style that is both complex and minimalist. This is profound!
-He once drew me as a roadrunner. It was an actual honest to god feral roadrunner, but a roadrunner nonetheless!
-He lives in Idaho among the wilderness and stuff and I envy him for that. 3:
-He is probably one of the most personable artists on here.
-I think he's the only one of us on here who drew a fanart that made it as a guest strip on O&M. This is an accomplishment!

He he. Technically, Canada is part of America, just as the USoA is. We're all on the same two continents named "The Americas." So, we're all Americans here in the Western Hemisphere, even Canadians. :D It's kind of self-centered of people of the US to refer to only themselves as "Americans," when the term really applies to so many others.

Not that there is much of a choice. Generic names like the "The United States of America" are lame that way. Therefore, I think from now on, people who live in the USoA should be known as "Polystatamericans".

For fun, I'll point out that there's another United States on this continent, just to the south of the USA; Mexico's full name is the "United Mexican States".

I suspect the generic choice of name is somehow related to Manifest Destiny.

I didn't name it that.

Also, it's kinda odd how people think "American" refers only to people from the USA...

In most languages other than English, there is a word which translates to "United States-ian", except it's not nearly as awkward-sounding. In these languages, American means from anywhere in North or South America.

Also! The following United States used to exist, but don't anymore:

United States of Belgium
United States of Brazil
United States of Central America
United States of Colombia
United States of Indonesia
United States of Stellaland
United States of the Ionian Islands
United States of Venezuela
