I have a board now!

A place to talk about anything (that doesn't belong in the other forums).

For more sophisticated forums, I reckon that phpBB3 is a damn fine piece of code:
I kinda stopped trusting them when phpBB2 ran into code management issues.

I also ran into code problems with phpBB2 but have had nothing but joy from both phpBB3 installs I manage :)

much <3 for vBulletin
Meh.. vbulletin is everything I hate about messages boards. their support staff also has some of the most obnoxious people I know of helping clients assuming everyone asking questions in their forums has pirate installations of their board software. You can get any of the worthwhile features in smf these days.

PHPBB3 is also looking very good (only played with it a lil bit, but looked quite good).

Invision is my fave if I'm going commercial.

I don't like vBulletin... not sure why :?

Invision is OK, as is SMF... PunBB 1.3 is shaping up quite nicely :)

A forum is a forum is a forum.
\o/
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...
