Sometimes I feel like the only person in the world who hates beer.
As for the Holiday itself....um....I just listened to a Flogging Molly album. Does that count for anything?

6 Signs You're NOT Irish on St. Patrick's Day
Enjoy!
As for me, I'm Irish (well, I was born and raised in America, but I'm of Irish descent). I never really found it offensive. The holiday's not too big a deal to me, but the rest of my family's usually really busy on St. Patrick's day. My brother's in an Irish band.
Enjoy!

It is a mistake to fancy that horror is associated inextricably with darkness, silence, and solitude. I found it in the glare of midafternoon, in the clangour of a metropolis...
Considering only their lead singer is from Ireland, and the rest of the band is from California, no not really. Still enjoy the band thuogh.Sometimes I feel like the only person in the world who hates beer.

Shoulda listened to my Pogues albums though.

Sort of. His lifetime predated the Great Schism, so he wouldn't have called himself any cognate of "Catholic."Saint Patrick was catholic too...

Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

I have about five wounds now.

Astro> gforce's smiles can cure cancer in kittensgforce422 is awesome because:
-He made the absolute nicest comments about me in the other topic. I didn't respond to them yet, because I suck, but they are greatly appreciated! =D
-I would say he would also be a good runner up as one of the nicest people alive.
-He joined the IRC sometimes. But not enough, I say! Chat moar =D
-He is evidently only 18 year old but he could easily pass for 25. =D
-He is a drummer like *I* am and this in itself is cool.

My marching band actually marched in that in 2005. Great fun, I gotta say. 'Course, we had a bagpipe band right behind us so we kept getting drowned out, but our music sucked so it didn't matter too much, hehe.I'm in it for the New York Parade.
