What accent do you have?

A place to talk about anything (that doesn't belong in the other forums).

At least your grammar is better than Elmo's.

OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I take that to mean you have a Valley Girl accent.
Actually I wasn't implying that (I was just really drunk last night) but I DO have a valley girl accent!
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

Ah! So that's why you were posting the same thing to so many topics. I wonder if you even knew that you were. ;)

I lived in New Jersey all my life, yet I don't seem to have developed an accent; most well traveled people assume I'm American, but they can't tell from where. My mom doesnt have an accent, my dad got rid of his, my brother has a new jersey accent, but when I was attending an international school in thailand, they couldn't tell where I was from (most people thought I was Canadian, mostly because they thought I was too well spoken for an American; they be some America hayters, yo).

My accent is weird, it's fairly mild, but a mix of deep-south and "Appalachian" (I don't know how to describe that, but it's what it's called. Listen to George Jones talk for an example). My dad's side of the family is from Mississippi, and I grew up here in Virginia, so I got a nice blend growing up.

Oddly enough, the only people who seem notice it are people who've never met me before, and to them it's obvious. I don't think I sound much different than anyone else around here [shrugs].

I speak English more clearly than a lot of native speakers... makes me feel good. ^_^

But back on topic (as much as I hate on-topic-ness), I live in California, so no accent for me. ;p
Anami and Anami are sitting around Anami says "GRR I AM ANGSTY LET'S EXPRESS ANGST" and so Anami says "ONE OF THE MODS ON DC IS A DICK I POSTED A PICTURE THAT WASN'T REALLY THAT INAPPROPRIATE AND THREE MODS SAW IT AND DID NOTHING THEN A FOURTH ONE SAW IT AND DELETED IT" and Anami says "OMG I HATE MODS >:("

On a completely unrelated side note, I would kill to have this guy's accent (NSFW for language).
