If it's the first couple of words you don't get, try googling them. It'll probably make a bit more sense then.

The character is Captain Haddock, a coarse, sarcastic and sometimes alcoholic seaman from the Tintin series. Due to not being able to put actual swear words Herge used colourful insults using random, difficult words to show when he was angry or exasparated, as he often was prone to. Bashi-bazouk and troglodyte are two examples, I thought furry would fit in to that.
