Indeed you have my little friend!

This started out as just a simple practice to see if I can make good shading alone using the Airbrush in Corel Painter... well I got out of hand and made something more. Thing is I started out very dark and this doesn't seem to be a bad look for Gregory. Gah I really want to pet him!:wag:

This took 4 hours to draw, so I am going to faint now.

You can see the full sized version at my DA : http://vengencemkii.deviantart.com/art/ ... e-83046859

Just click download since the image is so big.

Pretty interesting! It seems your characters are taking on a slightly darker look, not at all a bad thing. Also, I wish I could draw like you.

Well he is only getting darker so that he looks different from the other characters. That... and I was air brushing dark in the first place.

Also, it is a bit less of skill and more of patience. This took 4 hours to make, and those 4 hours could have been spent... doing... classwork... oh crap! My assignments!

*paste anything I said on MSN here*

I think this happens to be one of the best drawings you've done that I've seen. I can probably say it's better than those... woodless pencil drawings? (That's what theya re right?) I also think the shading makes it look much better, compared the the dhading you've done of those other pictures. The fact that it has no outline of any sort... makes it a little less cartoony... which is probably one reason why he looks so "dark"

EIDT: it still looks like he;'s wearinga fireman's jacket

That tail looks like it could pierce a hole in something. Is Gregory part porcupine now?

Better then ever. :D

They look really cute and adorable. Four hours seems like a long time, what ate up the most time?

Shading :-P Making it so that it looked right. That and I was using a tablet, I want to use a tablet monitor or a tablet PC  . It'd probably reduce the time it took me by about half an hour or more.
