Pirates!

Well you can probably imagine my boredom over this. Everywhere I see, there are pirates. On fast food wrapping, bottles, books, movies, walmart. Bah, this in spirit was a good idea but yet again I wasn't that motivated so the quality sucks. Not only that my dad was working on the taxes so I couldn't use the computer to get a good reference picture. All I had was the Prehistrionics book that had all the old style strips. I used those refs and tried to and failed to draw in the old style. Man, that old style is harder than it looks!
Yeah I got lazy and did the last panel the way it is. Still, I wanna get that t-shirt. R.

Sorry but I got bored. Some pirates are good but it gets a bit tiring seeing the SAME pirate everywhere. Tell you what, I'm gonna buy that capt Locke T-Shirt in rebellion against Sparrow LOL.

Oh, that.
Strangely enough, the talk over here about him died down after opening weekend.

I like the last panel's art shift. It doesn't bother me that it wasn't original.
BTW, it looks like you pulled Locke out of your pocket.
What was he holding in the first panel? Could it be Pirate-in-a-Can?

The pirates you see in the medias never do any piratey stuff. Like stealing, raping, or pillaging.

Nah, it's just Johnny Depp being charmingly odd.

No...then there would be mention of rum, and wondering where it has all gone.
*time and space begin to distort*
Oh no...NOT AGAIN!
*scene appears*
"Mr. Bault...I have travelled from one end of the seven seas to the other, and I've met many a captain. Who the bloody hell is Captain Morgan?!?"
"Oh, just try it, Captain Sparrow. I believe you will find him to be a man of good taste..."
*scene disappears*
I HATE when that happens!

Well yesterday I saw the worst proof of this pirate thing ever: A pirate veggietales movie. That was the most painful 4 minute trailer I have ever seen in a movie theater before. Sheesh I think my eyes were in pain every second of that trailer gah!

Hahaha the Pirates Who Don't Do Anything have a movie now? That I gotta see. Well a trailer at least. Not sure I could stand a whole movie, but seeing a trailer ONCE might be amusing enough.

The movie may have been stupid... but the punk version of "The pirates who don't do anything" song is great!!!

In the Peter Pan adaptations, they abduct and attempt murder. But yeah, that's not exactly piracy.
