Illuminated Manuscript

Postby CameronCN » Wed Jun 27, 2007 6:00 am

I may have mentioned this before, or I may not have (I have a hard time remembering these things), but I occasionally write poetry. Weird modern stuff, mostly. Anyway, my latest idea is to put together my books like medieval manuscripts, with the wide margins, irregular arrangements, and decorations... because it's cool.
So here's a pdf I whipped up-five recent poems of mine designed as neo-medieval.
Tessellations of Words.pdf
EDIT: And thanks to my absentmindedness, it's a 500 dpi pdf, too. Hi rez!

Cameron is awesome because:
-Because he has an artistic style that is both complex and minimalist. This is profound!
-He once drew me as a roadrunner. It was an actual honest to god feral roadrunner, but a roadrunner nonetheless!
-He lives in Idaho among the wilderness and stuff and I envy him for that. 3:
-He is probably one of the most personable artists on here.
-I think he's the only one of us on here who drew a fanart that made it as a guest strip on O&M. This is an accomplishment!

(looks)

Not to worry, Sage; it's non-rhyming.

I much prefer rhyming. It adds another layer and a challenge. I liked some of these, others not so much.
